Radios was invented by Guglielmo Marconi a young italian experimenter , hd been building a device for wireless telegraphy macroni had taken out the first wireless telegraphy oatent in England 1896. the device had only two circuits. Marconi using a telsa oscillator transmitted the signals across the English Channel.Macroni first patent apllication in america, filed on november 10. 1900. This was turned down. Macroni invention became less of a priority as time went on.

The BBC stands for the British Broadcasting Corporation,founded in October 1922.  John Reith, the BBC  founding father vision was that the bbc would entertain educate and inform.  During the war the BBC changed from tv  to radio, this became a lifeline to the war suffers as news of allies was broadcasted .In the1960 radio one  was formed   which reinvented pop music. in the 1980 There was a serious rift with the government over editorial independence, this time around the Northern Irish issue - probably the most serious since the General Strike of 1926.

Description of website: The Reggie Yates show page is very colourful  with a substantial amount of convergnce. The page is blue with the radio one logo. The denotation of the logo is bold with radio waves surrounding the logo.  links aswell as audience interaction are visible on the page where the listerners are able to select or choose music  to thier particular interest.
The first example of convergance is the different tabs which include photos(gallery of event ) contact information and videos. in terms of technical convergence , their is a 'contact tab' where Reggies can be contacted through a number of social networks, like Facebook and  Twitter. As well as via text  and email.
